Carriescastle Garage Doors is a referral service. It has no repair crew. When you call or send a request, you get connected with an independent provider in our network. That provider does the work and gives you the quote.

What they will ask you

Expect a few plain questions.

• What is the door doing? Stuck, loud, crooked, or not moving?
• Did you hear a bang before it stopped?
• Is the door open or closed right now?
• How old is the door and opener?
• When are you home?

Photos can help if the provider asks for them.

Questions to ask a provider

You are in charge. Ask before you book.

• Is the quote in writing? What does it include?
• Are parts and labor listed separately?
• Is the work done on the visit, or does a part need ordering?
• Can you fit the visit around my schedule?
• Is the provider licensed and insured where required locally?
• What happens if the fix does not hold?

For a spring job, ask whether both springs should be changed. Ask about cables and track alignment too.

Keep your day running

Tell the provider your tight spots. School pickup. A shift start. A weekend plan. Many providers will try to work around them. Availability varies, and some jobs take longer.
